Professional Counselor Program

Volunteers Assisting Seniors (VAS) has a Professional Counselor Program to provide Medicare counselor training and support to people in health service professions who will use this knowledge in their daily work. In turn, these volunteer counselors will assist VAS during Medicare Open Enrollment, helping beneficiaries review their prescription drug plans or Medicare Advantage plans to ensure they have the best coverage at affordable rates. This program will create a community of professionals through which our services can expand.
